The 5-second summary
20 g protein per barOnly 2 g sugarsNo added sugar221 kcalBox of 12 × 57 gHalal · made in Germany
A real Snickers — chocolate, caramel, roasted peanuts — but with 20 g of protein and only 2 g of sugars. Not a protein bar imitating a chocolate bar; the chocolate bar itself, rebuilt.
▍ How is it different from a regular Snickers?
A standard 50 g Snickers carries roughly 4.5 g of protein and 27 g of sugar. This version inverts that: 20 g of protein and 2 g of sugars in a 57 g bar. The protein comes from milk protein, whey and bovine collagen; the sweetness from maltitol rather than sugar.
The build is unchanged: milk chocolate outside, a caramel layer, and genuinely roasted peanuts at 12%, with 3% hazelnut paste giving the variant its name.
▍ When to eat it
After training
20 g of protein in one bar is close to a scoop of powder, with no shaker and no prep. Very practical in a gym bag.
As a dessert swap
If you want chocolate after dinner, this gives you the same thing with 2 g of sugars instead of 27.
Between meals
The protein plus 3.1 g of fibre keeps you fuller than a standard chocolate bar of the same calories.
Try it chilled
The caramel layer firms up in the fridge, and many people prefer it that way.

▍ Before you buy
- Not suitable for vegetarians. The recipe contains hydrolysed bovine collagen, as stated on the pack.
- Sweetened with maltitol (around 8 g per bar). The pack warns that excessive consumption may have a laxative effect — so stick to one bar at a time if it's new to you.
- Contains peanuts, soy and milk, and may contain nuts, egg and gluten.
- “Low sugar” is not “low calorie”: 221 kcal and 11 g of fat per bar. It is a smart dessert swap, not a light product.
▍ The Green Spot view
Most protein bars ask you to compromise on taste. This one doesn't. It is actually a Snickers — same chocolate, same caramel, same peanuts — except the numbers on the back have flipped: 20 g of protein against 2 g of sugars.
To be straight about it: 221 kcal and 11 g of fat mean this is not a “light” product, and maltitol doesn't sit well with everyone. But as an after-dinner swap or a post-gym snack, the trade is clearly in its favour. And if you eat them regularly, the box works out cheaper than single bars.
